Job Description
Makita Singapore Pte.Ltd, a worldwide leader in the power tool industry, has available positions for Service Engineer & OPE specialist.


1) Service Engineer

Position Responsibilities

   *Responsible for our South Asia Territories customers such as:

• providing recommendations for the reordering of spare parts;
• collect, collate and preparing technical information
• lead a team of local and overseas technicians for optimal performances
• Indentify areas for improvements
• Ensure that KPI are acheive
• Facilitate workshops and training their needs
• Reporting daily and monthly for local and overseas service centre (eg. 48hrs turnaround time, warranty returns, etc)
• Prepare spare parts list

   *Require to travel overseas


Position Requirements

1. Preferably a diploma holder
2. Experience in Power Tools an advantage.
3. Preferably with South Asia Cilentele experience
4. Able to interact well with people pf all levels and self motivated.

2) Outdoor Power Equipment Specialist

Position Responsibilities

• Increase  OPE sales volume by selling company programs to distribution and converting major end users to Makita products within assigned territory
• Organize an extensive travel schedule focusing on distributor calls, end user calls, demo shows, product knowledge meetings etc. within assigned territory, and upon management request
• Innovate new ideas for increasing sales
• Provide feedback to Regional Sales Manager concerning the total market place as well as any competitive activities taking place in territory
• Interface with multiple departments
  

Position Requirements

• Knowledge of all phases of OPE products.
• Organizational skills in above areas, as well as outside sales experience making formal presentations to distributors and end users
• Must possess excellent people skills
• Ability to represent the company and the products on a professional level at all times
• Must be assertive and dedicated to Makita
